What is the use of the default route (LSA3) that is generated by ABR of a stub area ?

Hello,
since a stub area blocks OSPF external routes (LSA 5), the stub area routers need to have the default route to reach destinations outside of the AS...

The ABR will not let external routs (LSA type 5) to get inside the stub area, so the routers inside the stub area no nothing about the External networks (outside ths AS) it must have a default route pointing to the ABR, this route is actually sent by the ABR.
