Hi,
The LED status on SUP 720 in VSS is different for IOS SXH and SXI ?????????
i had configured VSS on IOS SXI4a the standby SUP SYSTEM LED is amber, when i pull down the active switch the standby comes up and the amber changes to green.VSS working fine no issues.
BUT
Also i had configured VSS on IOS SXH8a, the STANDBY SUP all LED's are green including the SYSTEM. But the VSS is working fine no issues, Is this is normal or any missing configuration.
Thanks.

Hello Jack,
The VSS Standby "Active" LED should be Amber / Orange (to indicate that it is NOT the Active Supervisor):
The active led you see on SXI image is correct. The sup on the active switch should be green and on the standby, it should be amber.
There is a software issue with the led in SXH release. Basically, the LED on the sup does not show the correct status.
Refer Bug ID : CSCso72250
In both the cases, the performance of the VSS is unaffected its just the LED status change between two codes.
Thanks,
Ricky Micky
