switch metro ME1200 configuring username/password

Hi all,

I have a cisco metro switch me1200, that is controlled by a ME3600X. I can configure the ME1200 via the Me3600 but I can't find the default username/password. When I try to access the ME1200, via https, it prompts for username/password. The same when I access it via the console or the "DebugCLI" command.

I can't find where to set the username/password neither I can find the default username/password. 

Can anybody help me?

After a few hours of search and pure enlightment, I managed to find the username/password, which is not *anywhere* on the documentation or google...

And because i find it **so** unprofessional from Cisco, not to have proper documentation and borken CLIs for products you can buy on the market, I will not post the password here but I will provide you with a link to it.

Hello Sp,

What admin password are you looking for exactly? I see you found the username and password to log into the Me1200, however what other password are you searching for?

Can you paste the input where you are being requested for a password?

There are these username/passwords in the default config

username me1200_control privilege 15 password encrypted Z2FtZWNoYW5nZXI=
username me1200_console privilege 11 password encrypted bWUxMjAwX2xvZ2lu
username me1200_prime privilege 15 password encrypted cHJpbWVfbWUxMjAw
username me1200_tac privilege 15 password encrypted bWUxMjAwX3RhY19vcmc=
username admin privilege 15 password encrypted c2FuZGlubw==

As you can see the me1200_console user is NOT privileged to level 15

Only the me1200_console/ me1200_login is given (as a comment in the config)

I managed to login via console to the switch and add a priv 15 user/pass. This way I managed to gain access to the device as an admin user (priv15). This should be documented somewhere.
