I seem to be missing some settings.
I need ALL syslog messages generated by two border routers but cannot get passed the missed packet status messages:
access-list logging rate-limited or missed 23 packets
I do receive most mesages but periodiucally receive the rate-limited or missed # packet mesage.
These two routers are consistently running at 2% utuilization, NEVER higher than 3%. I never receive more than 50 mesages per second
This is the config related to the logging on each of the 2 routers:
logging userinfo
logging queue-limit trap 200
logging buffered 32768
logging rate-limit 10000
logging history size 500
logging origin-id hostname
logging facility local6
logging 10.2.5.247
logging 10.4.26.85
I tried turing off the logging rate-limit 10000 command with the no logging rate-limit but this did not help either.
Router is a Cisco 2821 running c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.T9.bin IOS.
