hello all
is it possible to telnet to public ip address assigned to cisco terminal server via absolute number.
eg. telnet 6.6.6.6 2033
where 6.6.6.6 is public ip and 2033 is my absolute line number.
as scenerion i have cisco terminal server setup. and 5 cisco router connected with terminal router via octal cable.
My requirement is, i wan to telnet from remote location and directly wanted to enter in to the respective router from given 5 routers.
anybody has idea please reply..

The command you posted should work and I tested here without problems.

"Establish a Telnet connection to the IP address port to test direct connectivity. You must telnet from both an external device and the terminal server. For example, telnet 172.21.1.1 2003."
