You are changing the config on a router (Terminal Server). We just added a new MCU connection in Virginia

You want telnet to go through line14 on the router. You want to give it the address of 128.0.0.0 You put the description on the interface of Line14,

now it is time to assign the IP address. What is the command line to assign an IP address to Line14.

Hint: it is not the same as adding an IP address to S0 or E0.

When you say Line 14, I presume you mean an async line, right ? Is there more info associated with this question...

In general, this is how you would assign an IP address to an async interface:

interace async 14

ip address

Does that help ? Pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh

Thanks that helped !!

I'm curious. Where was the question from and was my answer one of the options ?

Pls do remember to rate posts.
