I have an 1841 with two internet circuits and I'm wanting to configure the circuits for failover. Is there a way to have the router ping ISP1s default-gateway and if it fails use ISP2s gateway? Please note that it is imperative I track an IP address rather then the state of the WAN interfaces.

Thanks in advance!

Check out this link. You can use IP SLA and link a track object to it.

The link provided by Greg is pretty good and should show you what you need to do. I set up something pretty similar to what you describe. I did it on 2800 rather than 1800 but it should work well for you on your 1841.
