Can anyone explain , what this interface output actually means????
What does output drops indicate?????
Input queue: 0/200/13108178/666 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 1380862
Queueing strategy: fifo
Output queue: 0/200 (size/max)
30 second input rate 2065000 bits/sec, 906 packets/sec
30 second output rate 7501000 bits/sec, 1157 packets/sec
Thanks in advance.

Output drops are caused by a congested interface. For example, the traffic rate on the outgoing interface cannot accept all packets that should be sent out.

Thanks for ur replies.
Has anyone experienced the same problem before , if so cud I know what measures were taken to prevent/reduce this.
Else I'll have to implement the queuing techinques.
Many Thanks
