Tunnel & Interface MTU size

Hi,

I cann't increase the MTU size of tunnel and FE interface at Cisco 7507 as the current version doesn't support this.So I try to migrate the existing FE link to POS link between Juniper and Cisco 7507 router, the CPU utilization at Cisco 7507 went very high. What can be the reson for this? There is a tunnel between Juniper and Cisco 7507. DO I have to create a new tunnel and then swing the BGP traffic to the new tunnel?

you can find out the usage on show process cpu..you may get some static on the display of this command
