Currently I am working in a medium level company,we have couple of branches over India.Yesterday I configured one of the 1841 series router through console by taking remote access of Cochin(One of the city in India).Every one is connected through MPLS,Now the problem is we are able to ping the router from HO(from our branch),but we are unable to Telnet the router,Kindly look the configuration.

Hi so reachability is there between the two sites as you can ping , is there any firewall infront of either router , you should not use telnet ever where possible use ssh if the router has k9 image , telnet does not encrypt passwords and can be sniffed on the wire

what happens when you telnet do you get anything at all or just blank terminal

Theres nothing in that config I can see blocking telnet and telnet only requires a password under vty to use it really need to see the far side config as well , telnet could be blocked coming from the source check if there are acls on HUB router and that the ip your coming from is permitted to the branch using port 23
