Hi,

Could you please provide me with a brief and clear explanation about traffic rate-limit.

I read a lot article but could not understand the difference between normal and extended rate limit

In the below example, what 8192000 1536000 1536000 represent  ?

#rate-limit input access-group 105 8192000 1536000 1536000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop

Regards,

Tarek

Be often just adds to the measure parameters provided by Bc.

On many platforms

8192000 1536000 1536000

would behave the same as

8192000 3072000 0.

On some platforms, I believe, Be can be borrowed against, and is replenished by unused Bc.
