Specifically, the command to be input is "ip nbar protocol-discovery". The model is the Catalyst 9300 with IOS-XE version 17.12.4.

The setting is included in the Trunk port and the member port of the Layer 2 Port-Channel, but when checking with the show ip nbar protocol-discovery command, no communication is detected and the counter value is not counted up.

Does it work only on the Access port?..

I don't belive NBAR will work on L2 interfaces. You have to enable it on L3/SVI's.

It works ONLY on L3 interfaces  = ip nbar protocol-discovery
