Upgrade on ASR 1001-X

Hello Cisco Community,

I have to upgrade an asrx1001-x from ios version 16.9.6 / rommon 16.9(4r) to 17.9.5a.

show version output:
License Type: Permanent
License Level: adventerprise
Next reload license Level: adventerprise
The current throughput level is 2500000 kbps

I understand that the license changes to smart(CSL).
Will my licenses be converted to smart automatically?
Will my license be lost after the upgrade?What happens if I have no communication with the CSL licensing portal?

IOS-XE Bundle Mode is not covered.   --> Is it mean than is no possible to upgrade via bundle mode?
