Hello to everyone, i have this scenario... recently the provider upgraded the internet lines from adsl2 to vdsl. The thing i have old routers and i must upgrade them too. The question is if i can restore the config file to the new vdsl router.
I have the cisco 1841 and one 800 series and i'm thinking cisco 886VA-K9.
is it possible ?

Hello,
if your hardware supports the VDSL, the configs are rather similar. Post the output of 'show version' and 'sh run' from both routers, so we can fill in the necessary bits and pieces...

thank you for your reply and sorry for the delay of response, the 886VA-K9 i didn't bought it yet... because the limited budget i have.
So, as i was searching some ways to have VDSL but not necessary change the router, i came up with an idea. The idea is to ''bridge'' an isps modem(no name) with my cisco router to take advantage the VDSL line is it possible?
Thank you
