Hi
Anyone have simple doc to follow for upgrade iOS image for Cisco Asr 1000. Not worried about downtime. New hardware not in production yet.
A link to Cisco doc would be great if anyone has it handy.
Thanks
Izzy

The upgrade commands are in there. It's not just for ISSU but also single Sup upgrades. Read it carefully and you'll find it.

All you really have to do is tftp the image to the router and then change the boot variable to boot the new code you uploaded.
copy tftp: flash:
enter the hostname or ip of the tftp server and then the image file name
after it's done uploading change the boot variable to the new image file name
boot system flash bootflash:asr1001-universalk9.xx.xxx.bin
just make sure you have the right filename or it can make for a long day
