Hi,
If you are Ok with outage during upgrade it is as easy as changing the boot variable to refer to new image (assuming you have new image in your disks) and reload the router.
If you are looking for very less outage then In Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) is what you have to target.

Hi Chris,
With a single supervisor, the upgrade process is generally the same proceedure as the 7200, or any other IOS based platform. However, if you've got dual supervisors and you want to minimize downtime, you may want to use the in service software upgrade proceedure:
