USB Flash on ISR C1113 router

Hi all,

I'm configuring my 1st Cisco ISR1113 router, which we are using as replacement for the 897 small office routers. I'm trying to use the USB flash with no joy. The data sheet for the ISR1000 routers shows flash memory support Type A USB 3.0, and the installation guide lists the flash drive name as usb0: with the caveat that it is only visible if there is a usb drive installed in usb0:

I have a USB 3.0 drive formatted with exFAT plugged into the USB port and the router doesn't see it. When I try to read the drive I just get the following response:

Router#dir usb0:
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Any ideas?

Post the output to the command "sh log".
If you've plugged a USB stick in there should be a log entry if the USB stick is supported or not.

There id no entry in the logs to display. I tested the USB flash on a 897 router and the router shows usbflash01: but can't list the contents or format the flash. It looks like a compatibility issue. I'll check with a different usb stick as soon as I get one to hand.

Mine only worked with a USB2 stick
