Use Gre Tunnel Interface as Gateway For Another Router For a Specific IP

Hi everyone,

i have configured a Gre tunnel between a mikrotik router and a C870 Cisco router,i have configured the access list in cisco and routing in mikrotik as well.

the situation is i want to grant access to a specific ip address (like google.com) for my Local network which is 192.168.x.y through Gre tunnel (15.15.15.0/30) so that i could access google through cisco's public ip address.

the gre tunnel on cisco has access to google right now and from local network i can ping cisco's gre tunnel and the trace for that specific ip address is now like this

*LAN Edge Device

*Mikrotik

*Cisco's GRE Tunnel Interface
*Cisco Gre Tunnel Interface Unreachable!

when i ping from gre int i can access that ip,but not from local network.

any ideas?

Hi Arash,

Your topology is not exactly clear. Why do you have 2 GRE tunnels on your Cisco device? Can you provide a diagram of your setup?

on your Mikrotik router:

1. enable nat  for that ip

2. place a route for that ip through the tunnel

or you can do NAT on Cisco router.

Hi

Try to configure on mikrotik Firewall roles, and check connect between mikrotik and cisco, you have to see from mikrotik P2P address to cisco
