Hello all,
So,
I was wondering if it's possible for ip sla to be used to bring up an interface on a device if that device sees that the other devices interface has gone down.
So for instance, if my 4507 has a one interface up (black writting) and one down, can I keep track of the up interface in such a way that if it should go down the 4507 would bring up the inteface attached to the .35?
Thanks,
BR

If you only want to bring the 2nd interface while the primary one is in an up/down. You can use the backup interface command. This will bring the other interface if the line protocol is in a down state (not admin down).

That's not the purpose of IP SLA, but as jeye stated you can use a backup interface, tracking, or EEM (double check support on your supervisor).
