Hi,
Please see the attached file to understatnd the scenario.
Currently We are running Setup A and then suddenly Link From Office 2 goes down.
So what I did From Office 2 router I connect it to Switch terminate 1 since office 2 is using diferent IP segment.
Details:
office 1 - DHCP Server, DNS and Domain
Office 2 - Static configuration no dhcp.
For better segmentation I will configure Vlan for each Office.
Vlan 10 - Office 1
Vlan 20 - Office 2
Office 1 configured as OSPF and office 2 static route configured.
Based on the scenario what is best solution for this.
thanks

Hello Arvin,
As can be seen from the attached diagram, you have more than a single point of failure, for example the switch in Terminal 1 and the switch in Terminal 2, any failure in those switches will cause a failure for more than one site, can you change that ?
Another point can you please clarify where is the HQ in the topology to have a better understanding of the topology.

Hi Ahmed,
Since Set-up B is temporary set-up only for HQ Office 2 to have a connection to Branch Office 2 and Office 2 fiber optic connection to termination 2 is undermaintenance.
For now I want to secure that connection of office 2 netowrk to our Office 1 network will not cause conflict to our office 1 network.
thanks

Hello Arvin,
I see, so under normal conditions, Office 2 and Office 1 networks are separated and do not communicate with each other, and to solve the problem of fiber cut you connected Office 2 network using Office 1 network, until the fiber link is recovered, right?
As I can see from setup A Office 2 HQ Router and Branch Router were connected using two switches, with setup B now, Office 2 Routers are connected using three switches, so as long as you create a different VLAN "which I can see you've already done", no conflict between Office 1 and Office 2 traffic would happen, just make sure to create the new VLAN on all transit switches to ensure that spanning tree would create a forwarding path.
All the best.
