Vlan over OSPF

Hello,

Can someone help me with the configuration of the lab (https://filebin.net/q7o9kpnpapk6d9sd) there is .pkt file ? I'm mainly interested in why R1 does not see the VLAN configuration from the Layer 3 switch via OSPF. The DHCP for the VLANs is on R1, and the helper address is loopback0, but it seems that R1 does not know the route for the VLANs, which is why the computer does not receive an address. If I enter a static route, it works. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello,

You answered your own question. "If you put in a static route it works". A device needs to know how to get to the network you want and back so routing needs to work both ways. Its likely you didn't have reachability and once you put in a static route the reachability was there. If you need it to work for OSPF then you need to make sure the VLAN interface and its connected L3 router interface are OSPF enabled and you have a neighborship between devices you need connectivity with.
