Ahmed,
The 7206 does not support VPLS (l2 vpn point to multipoint). The 7600, GSR and CRS do. The 7206 does support L2 VPN in a point to point configuration (AToM) though.

Hi,
the 7206 does not support VPLS , and the 7606 can support VPLS ,can the 7206 work with 7606 in VPLS , what i mean is the 7606 from the site of multipoint and 7206 from the site of point to multipoint

Hello Ahmed,
you can configure a point-to-point EoMPLS from c7206 to the C7606 where EoMPLS and VPLS should be able to coexist on the same chassis.
see
But the EoMPLS on the C7206 side needs a similar counterpart on the C7606 to setup the pseudowire.
It is not as simple as FR point-to-point to FR p-to-multipoint here different signalling methods are involved.
Hope to help

Giuseppe,
Just to add to your comment, you could also have EoMPLS configured on the 7206s and VPLS configured on the 7606 to create a point to multipoint between all the 7206s. This will work too.

Hello Harold,
thanks for your feedback I thought it could be a problem to have point-to-point EoMPLS and VPLS on the other side.
Best Regards
Giuseppe

Ahmed,
If you mean point to point (EoMPLS) on the 7206s and point to multipoint (VPLS) on the 7606 then the answer is yes it will work. Bear in mind that the 7606 needs either a ES20 or a SIP card for VPLS to work.
