VPN headend router ( URGUNT PLEASE ...)

i am designing a network with 1 central site and 165 branch sites interconnected through VPN. i would like to pick the right router for the headend. I am planning to use 3845 router. can anyone suggest please...........

Hello,

3800 series router with VPN encryption AIM card can support upto 2000 tunnels (as per datasheet). I think this will be a good router for you to use on the HO.... I have really not tested with such a huge no of tunnels, but 3845 has a pretty good hardware to take 160 tunnels.. no issues at all..
