VS-SUP2T-10G card with WS-X6748-GE-TX Card message DFC Problems

Hello ,

i try to  add a line card WS-X6748-GE-TX to cisco C6509E  with Suprvisor VS-SUP2T-10G

the line card not reconize by the switch  , no status and a message :

: %C6KENV-2-DFCMISMATCH: Module 9 DFC incompatible with Supervisor DFC.  Power denied

what i can do to solve this problem

Slot 9 has an incompatible DFC3B card.

I have seen this issue - when we migrating from OLD cards to Sup2T based Cat 6K, the Module has some daughter boards which was not supported.

I had othe card which support, which i repalce with that it was worked. (may be not your case, so get the Moduile - which support)

You would need a DFC4 to put in place of the current daughter card if compatible with the linecard otherwise a CFC like the one you have in slot 1:
