Vxlan gateways

hi there

When creating vxlan between some switches for bridging a vlan over my wan, I have some questions.

1.is the local vtep (nve interface) also the default gateway for the clients? Or is that only used for bridging to the remote vteps and you need to create an svi on the local vlan?

2. How do you route between vxlans? Would it also use the local svi?

I am new in VXLAN but let say

in

leaf you can config vlan and NVI only, this make all leaf forward L2 traffic from one to other using either

flood Andy learn

or

MP BGP.

why we need SVI in leaf

if we have more than one vlan in leaf and we need to inter vlan we need SVI, so instead of config GW on one leaf and make all other leaf send the traffic for inter vlan to this leaf

we will config SVI with same Mac in each leaf this make intervlan happened locally in each leaf.
