We have two vlans seperated by a router and we want to configure wake
on lan.
The users are located on Vlan 40 and the Wake on Lan server is located
on Vlan 50. We need the Wake on LAN server on Vlan 50 to be able to
power on the users terminals on VLAN 40.
Both of these Vlans are obviously seperated by a router. What router/SWITCH
configuration command do I have to apply to allow this Wake on LAN
communication to work properly?

If I am not mistaken you will need to enable ip directed broadcast on the router interfaces for each respective vlan. However by enabling ip directed broadcast you will be violating some security white paper best practices.
