Hi,
I am not able to turn on workstation using wake-on-lan utility in case when magic packet is sent from different vlan.
But same workstation gets turned on if magic packet is sent from same vlan.
I am using open source utility - 'mc-wol.exe'.
For both scenario i have captured packet using wireshark. Wireshark results shows that workstation is receiving magic packet in both cases.
Please find attachment showing wireshark capture.
Please provide proper guidance for above issues.

Hi
shouldn't matter once the switch is layer 2 inbetween workstation and 6k
have you set the directed broadcast as well under the vlan interface and the forward protocol in the global config , can you post your config just for the wol setup from 6k vlan
