WAN L2 P2P Link - DHCP requests (helper-address not working)

Dears,

Recently our provider changed the type of our P2P Link between our remote office and HQ. THey said we are now connected via L2 WAN Links (P2P)...

But after That our clients in that remote office are not getting IPs anymore (DHCP server is located a HQ office)

RemoteOffice--------[L2 P2P Link]------HQ(DHCP Server)

We have already configured at L3 switch in Remote Office "ip helper-address" command....

Is there any way out to get that problem fixed ? Is there any way to pass DHCP request thru L2 Wan link ?

thanks!!!

Hello

Are your vlans being advertised across this connection- have you extended the vtp domain for this remote site and if so is all the traffic being tagged ?

Hello thx for the reply...

but the main problem is...
A router is connected to that WAN link, ip helper address is confgured at internal L3 SW (interfaces VLAN)...
as per below

L3SW---accesslink--- RT------WAN_L2link-----RT-------DHCPSERVER

This L3 switch is a 3650x, wirh 8 VLANs, interface vlans configured as per below

[example]
interface Vlan120

description XXXXXXX
ip address 172.26.11.253 255.255.255.0
ip helper-address X.X.X.X

L3 Switch and WAN RT speak each other thru access link (both have interfaces at DATA Vlan)

If I shutdown that interface, all traffic flow normally thru another backup link....

thanks!!!
