Hello All,
Looking for suggestion where to terminated the WAN links which are terminated on Ethernet Interfaces.
Currently we got 3560 acting as Core and Metro Ethernet WAN links terminating on 2811 router. We got uplink from WAN Router to Core for connectivity.
We are planning to replace 3560 with 4500 series and also have Two active WAN Links. I would like to get input what difference it would make if I terminate both WAN links on 4500 L3 Switch instead of WAN router 2811.
Thanks
Anthony

If these are fast links, you do not need to worry about separating data and voice.
Otherwise, it can be done using VLANs. For a specific recommendation, you should consult with a reputable Engineer, or certified Cisco partner.

If these WAN circuits are not Internet, you can safely terminate them on a switch. Otherwise, a router is better.

Hello
Both Links are not Internet.
Can one link carry voice traffic only and other link Data Traffic even on terminating both WAN links on the L3-Switch.
what are my options to achieve it.
Thanks
