Hope someone here can help
I have a cisco831-k9 that worked previously. i was upgrading the dram when i got the following message; WARNING: Cookie information is corrupt message at bootup. i thought i might have a bad dram chip but the message continued when i removed the dram chip. i found information on a google search that showed me how to reset the cookie settings but i must have gotten a setting wrong. the message is now gone but the image in flash will not boot.
i need someone to help me reset the cookie to the proper settings for the 831. here is the o/p for the current cookie command

another update!!!
i read somewhere that reinstalling the flash rom would solve this problem. but just made things worse. now the router wont even post after doing the tftpdnld -u command.
can anyone shed some light on this.
i just spent $80 on a brick!!
