WCCP on 4331 ISR - what is 'platform' packet redirection (not 'Process' or 'CEF')

I've configured WCCP on a new 4331 ISR and it's working as expected.

However, does anyone know what is meant by 'Platform' redirection of packets as shown by the 'sh ip wccp' command:-

  Total Packets Redirected:          73571
  Process:                           0
  CEF:                               0
  Platform:                          73571

I'm aware of Process and CEF switching but I'm not sure what 'Platform' redirected refers to?

TIA

That Means the Redirects of the Packet is being done by the the Hardware (ASIC) in the ISR 4331.

its neither process nor cef switched.
