HI All,
I'm setting up a config to have WCCP with Blue Coat WAN Optimizer. I have following sinple setup at the moment. Cisco 6500 <----> Firewall.
I need your help to figure out how should my topology should be. Should I have whe WAN-Optimizer in between (in path of switch and firewall on the same VLAN) or have different vlan hanging off the 6500 and have WCCP redirect traffic?
Also do I need service-group for return traffic? Your answers are much appriciated and thank you in advance.

WCCP devicse don't need to be in the traffic path. They can be set to be into any interface or vlan you want.
There is a chapeter about it in the switch prodcut documentation.
