What are problems of members of eth-trunk in different routes?

What are the problems/drawbacks if members of eth-trunk in different routes? for your information, 1) routes are created through DWDM 2) packets are transmitting in each link - per FLOW For 5G, will there be any synchronization problem like fiber asymmetic as members are in different routes?

As you note, packets, for the same flow, will use the same member link, so there should not be any sequencing problem.

As for asymmetric flows, in both directions, logically (not physically) there are none, as Etherchannel is logically one link.

Hello @jahangir7g ,

all the packets of a single flow use the same wavelength in each direction and this eliminates out of order issue.

In general the difference in propagation delay of each DWDM  lambda is very little when comparared with other delays in packet based networks like being in a software queue waiting to be sent out.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
