What is Cisco-1.25 in ssh logging.

I'm getting below log under debug ssh on Cisco router.

Feb 16 07:28:01: SSH1: sent protocol version id SSH-2.0-Cisco-1.25

What is Cisco-1.25 here?

Hello @sumjoy_vicky ,

have you configured on the cisco device for version 2 ?

ip ssh version 2

otherwise the default version is not SSHv2 but SSH v1.x

Yes, Device is configured with SSH version 2 Only.

I think the '1.25' part is the Cisco specific vendor version ID. OpenSSH for example has another id, e.g.:

'SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_2.9.9p2
