                   Dear All,

Kindly help analyse the attached proposed network topology of my company (and the branches) and advise me appropriately.

I want to know if the design could work fine or if there are better way to achieve using different design. However, I'm more concern with the position of the devices and the networks between the devices and possibly how routing would be configure easily ( I prefer static route for now).

I look forward for your assistance.

Usman.

Usman,

Routing

    1. If dynamic routing:
      1. Use ospf. (or eigrp, if you're going to be 100% cisco -but there might be openEIGRP soon!)
      2. Enable ospf on the 7550
      3. Enable ospf on the firewall and generate a default route
      4. Enable ospf on the branches router
      5. Enable ospf on the branch routers
        1. You can add each branch in it's own area and make it a stub area, or
        2. You can just add the routers to area 0
    2. If static routing:
      1. Add default route for each subnet on the 3750 in the Branches router
      2. Add default route(s) from the 3750 to the firewall ints
      3. Add default routes to branch routers to the Branches router.
      4. Add default route to firewall to internet
      5. Add all other specific routes needed
