Hi, The Nexus7000 has two below interface configuration, which are all connected to FW1. 141 is one of Fex. The interface Ethernet6/4 should be one of ports of line card. I am not sure what is relation between the two interface. This two interfaces are separate physical interface, or only one interface? Any expert can give some suggestion? Thank you
interface Ethernet6/4
description FW1
switchport
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 3,19
spanning-tree port type edge trunk
udld aggressive
no shutdown
interface Ethernet141/1/6
description FW1
switchport
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan 99
switchport trunk allowed vlan 3,19
spanning-tree port type edge trunk
spanning-tree guard root
speed 10000
duplex full

Those two are two separate physical interfaces for sure. i only see a difference from the configuration perspective where in the FEX port has the native vlan set to 99 and has root guard enabled.
The best thing would be to physically check the FW or Nexus on where these two connections are going (unless there is some cabling information available with you)

Thank you for your reply. The command "show ip arp" should be helpful to the issue, but the command cannot show any thing in the Nexus7k.

Rather than the show ip arp, check out the command show mac address-table <int>. That might provide the set of mac addresses learnt over the link.

show mac address-table can show mac address in interface Ethernet6/4, but interface Ethernet141/1/6 has no output.
