Hi Pedro,
Why do you need to upgrade?
Upgrade triggers are often the need for new features available in newer IOSes or you encountered a critical bug that has no workaround other than upgrading to a new IOS.
We often don't recommend upgrading IOS just for the sake of it. Best to keep your current IOS that works well for you now instead of getting into an IOS that may bring instability into your network.

I will stand corrected but EWA train is on its way out, SGA is the new recommendation which has many bug fixes for past EWA.
I am running 12.2(31)SGA4 for 4510R

I had a problem with the switch, was 99 percent of use of cpu, i don't knew, i knew after reviewing graphics for the use of cpu and a tech-support that i take 30 minutes after of the fails. I was doing a changing of configuration a port on the switch (no service-policy output autoqos-voip-policy) and the switch restart and made fail over in the other card, in the "sh ver" can be seen: "System returned to ROM by RPR Switchover".
router#sh redundancy switchover history

1 2 1 active unit failed 06:33:06 GMT-4 Mon Apr 13 2009
The percentage of use of cpu was 99 for 2 days, but when i realized the percentage of utlizacion, for revision of statistics in application of monitoring, the switch had returned to normal values of use of cpu.
I think that the switch will restart by that i do configuration when the switch was in high use of CPU. That is why i want to take preventive measure making update of IOS

I also had CPU issues when QOS policy maps were updated..in fact boxes did crash few times.
This has not happen since my upgrade to SGA.
Main thing is, find out when supports ends for EWA.
TIA

If you want to verify is indeed a bug, then I recommend downloading the latest 31SGA image.
