hi,
If router fails to boot from nvrom and is going to rommon mode continously.
This is due to corroupt flash. how to decide which IOs needs to be downloaded from CISCO.com and to be stored back to
FALSH of router.

If you want to download the same IOS, do a dir flash: command from rommon and then you can find out the version number and feature set. For ex:
If the file name starts with,
c2600-is-mz --> The i stands for IP feature set and the S indicates its IP Plus.
After the mz, you should start seeing the version number.
"124-5a.bin" -- Indicates 12.4.5a IOS version.

Recovering the image you can use either tftpdnld method (quickest) or XMODEM.
