However i been told that we need some special license for each port/interface on the router? Is that true.

For normal routing switch - NO

Prefer ASR1000 models as 7600 is end-of-life. Also it has all the modules you wanted.

Hi, thankx for your quick reply,

bu7604 with RSP is not eos/eol and got HW redendant .the ASR1002(x) they got only SW redandent, could you advise. What about the 1000BASE-TX is it available on ASR?

Regards

Thank you very much for your help,  at least you answered my question

for 1000Base-TX. I was tginking that the SFP-GE-T were only for 1000Base-T

Is there significant price difference between the 1002-X with HA and 1006 with HA.

Regards

Yes. price difference is approx 50% more

Thank you for you support.

We decided to go for 1002-X with VPN+HA licenses, plus one

SPA-8xFE and one SPA-2xOC3. However i been told that we need some special license for each port/interface on the router? Is that true.

We may go for ASR1002X-5G-HSEC/K9 bundle.

Pls advice
