We are hitting this bug on ASR 1006-X:
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvu62879
But we are running the suggested release 17.03.05 which is neither in the affected or fixed releases. We suspect that it is affected but maybe bug isn't updated. What would be the best release to upgrade to in this case?

Raise a TAC Case. Ask the TAC engineer because Bug IDs rarely contain accurate information.
Take this Bug ID. If the information of this Bug ID is "correct", under Known Fixed Releases it says "17.5(5.2)". It is not a regular "17.3.5" but a "beta" release version.
Officially, if a version is published with a "name", example Cupertino-17.8.1, then the file is a "public" release version. If the version only contains numbers, example "17.8.1", then it is an internal "beta".
IMPORTANT: Emphasis on the word "OFFICALLY".
However, I have seen Bug IDs where public and "internal beta" versions are used interchangeably for "consistency" purposes. Hence, my recommendation about raising a TAC Case.
