Hi All,

I have configured new MPLS link

While I am telnetting eBGP networks i got the error like  Destination unreachable; gateway or host down

But I am ale to ping the subnet.

There is no issue in BGP , gateway reachability is fine

Hi,

Make sure telnet is not blocked on the device if you are able to ping it.

Can you traceroute to the same device you need to telnet to?

HTH

Hi,

I can able traceroute the same
Thank you for the reply

Hi Reza,

I can able to traceroute those subnets. Telnet is also working for our internal subnets. Only I have the issue with the response  whenever crossing the gateway

Do you have any other means to connect to the endpoint?

Have you confirmed with your MPLS provider that they allow Telnet?

Is Telnet configured or is SSH configured?

In the config on the endpoint - have you set it up with any ACL's...what does the config look like for vty?

HI Rick,

There is no ACL Blocking

When I am trying with my Old MPLS link it is working fine. NO issue. But the issue is only with whenever I am trying with my new MPLS link
