Hi,
Why does some ISPs provide subinterface to their customer for circuit?
And what's the case when they just provide with a physical interface?
Which ISPs usually do provide subinterface?
Thank you in advance!

Using sub-interfaces allows you to sell different seperate services to a client (such as VoIP and data).
The question about which ISPs do this will depend on what country you are talking about.

Hi
It could be because they are using Virtual Circuits like used for L2 VPN ATOM, EoMPLS, L2TPv3, VPLS, etc. So you can assign one VLAN per client.
