Why there is "_" before as-path and after as-path?

Hi This is ASR9K. Anyone can explain why there are "_" before 200 and after 200? Please see the below. Thank you

as-path-set ABB
ios-regex '_200_',

This regex means match anything with 200 in the pattern.
