Hi All
I have routers connected from one site to another using OSPF over a tunnel.
I have configured new tunnels using EBGP by manipulating the local-as
A lot of my subnets have gone over to the new BGP tunnels as they have an admin of 20 vs 110
However some are still going via OPSF and when look at show ip bgp output
the origin is shown as IGP (as oppoased to incomplete) and there is a wieight of 32768
Thanks for your help

Hi @JamesSimpson34554 ,
The weight of 32768 means the prefix is being locally originated, rather than received from the BGP peer. It looks like you might be redistributing OSPF in BGP. If so, make sure you do not redistribute the OSPF routes that were previously received via the tunnel into BGP.

Hi Harold,
I am redistributing OSPF into BGP, its strange as I have a number of subnets that are now being seen by the routers in BGP, there are a select few that are still prefering to go over the OSPF tunnel

Hi @JamesSimpson34554 ,
It is a race condition. It depends if the BGP or OSPF update is learnt first. As suggested before, make sure you apply proper filtering in place.
