wic-2t problem

hi,

need your advice on this. I have installed WIC-2T on our cisco3640 router with IOS ver12.0. but when check the router thru console, thw WIC-2T card will not be detected. Have tried installing WIC-1T on the 3640 and it works fine.

I have also tried installing the WIC-2T to our cisco3745 router, the WIC card works fines as well.

Is there any issues on the WIC-2T is installed on the 3640 router running IOs ver12.0?

Hello,

there are certain limitations to using the WIC-2T on your 3640, that is, the card is only supported in specific network modules (NM-1FE2W, NM-1FE1R2W, NM-2FE2W, NM-2W).

Cisco IOS versions 12.0(7)XK, 12.1(1)T, 12.2, 12.2T will recognize the card.

Hey..thanks alot...i tried a different networkmodule which contains two ethernet port and 2 wic module..it works..thanks..
