WIC Card showing as embedded-service-engine

All,

I am having trouble with a WIC card that was recently installed. It is for an MPLS circuit. When it was added to the router, it came up showing as an embedded-service-engine.  It isn't even close to something like that. Is there a way I can make the router see it as a serial interface which is what this is?  I did manage to get the card to show up/down.  But in order for everything to work, I need it to be a serial int.  I have provided some output that may help.

Thanks,

Scott

WIC card does not show up at all as. All ISR G2 routers have the embedded service engine interface, that you can ignore.

Paolo,

Could you be a little more specific?  I am just trying to get the WIC card recognized as a WIC card. Hod do I ignore the service engine?  Once it is ignored, how can I use my WIC card?

Which card is that exactly ?

Ignoring means is not related to the problem, and do not have to do anything about.

Perhaps the output of show inventory from the router might shed some light on this?
