In order to use 4948 switch layer 2 mode, what can I do configure special?
I think No configuring something I should do?

Thank you all!

You might need to configure the port as a switchport and not a routed port. A 4948 should support either, but I don't know which is its default.

Hi,
Joseph is right. I thnk the default mode is switchport. By default all the ports will be in vlan 1. So you can make it as L2 switch without any configuration.
