I'm starting to get confused with this now. Can anyone who's familiar with X25 advice pls
Once a Virtual Channel (VC) is up, can i safely assume that i can have a maximum of 256 sessions per VC?

What do you mean by "session" ? A VC is like a point-to-point link, you can carry any type and amount of IP traffic on it.

Maybe i should rephrase this. A VC is established when a call/signal is requested. Hence, what's the maximum no of VCs that can be made? Is this 256?

Per standard, the maximum number of VCs (combined switched and permanent) is 4095, and cisco supports up to that number as well.

On a NM-16A/S, if i were to configure all ports for synchronous x25 connectivity. How many VCs can a single port hold?

As mentioned above, 4095.
Note in real world, more than few VCs per port are seldom used.
