Adding a new vnic for vedge on ESXI - break ip connectivity on existing vnics (ge0/0 - ge0/2 stop ip forwarding)

Hi.

I am running an issue when adding a new vnic on the vedge VM. By default there are 4 vnics (1x mgmt, 3x data) and that works fine with no issues.

the default 4 ports when installing a VM are as follows:

eth0 (vnic1) - mgmt

ge0/0 (vnic2) - data

ge0/1 (vnic3) - data

ge0/2 (vnic4) - data

When I add a new vnic (to have ge0/3) to the VM to have 4x data ports, the initial 3 ports (ge0/0 - ge 0/2) stop forwarding, there is no ip connectivity at all. I clarify here that I am shutting down the vm, then add the vnic, and then power on the VM.

When I remove the new vnic added (back to 3x data ports), then ip connectivity is immediately restored on the ge0/0 -  ge0/2 ports (I can ping directly connected hosts).

I tested with vedge version 18, 19, 20 and the behavior is the same.

My setup is as follow:
VMWARE ESXI: 6.0
vedge version: 18, 19, 20

Appreciate any help.

Regards.
