I am trying to build my own Cisco ACI LAB and i need help/advice:
I have already one spine and two leafs, and also 2 DELL servers in cluster in Vcenter
The remaining issue is how do i solve the APIC part.
I understand that i can't have only APIC in vmware, i need to have a physical one. Can i install APIC software on any brand bare metal server? i need to buy UCS? i have found a UCS c220 M3 to buy cheap , is that enough?
After i buy the physical server and download for example APIC 4.2 iso image and i install it on UCS server, can i use a trial, evaluation license to discover and configure my spine and leafs? do i need to buy a license? how much it costs? Can i rent one?
I want the cheapest version how can i have an APIC to discover and configure my switches.
